Viewing Xylem and Phloem

For M1/12 lesson on xylem and phloem, students viewed slides of the different vascular tissues under the microscope. At first each group arranged their working tables, microscopes and extension wires. Then, they prepared their notes, pens and colored pencils for the drawing in today’s activity.

Each microscopes mounted a specific slide of Monocot (Stem, Leaf, Root) and Dicot (Stem, Leaf, Root) everybody’s objective is to view and differentiate the xylem and phloem of dicot and monocot plant.

Each members of the group must view the slide and complete the experiment questions and tasks on their notebooks.

It was indeed another fun day in Science, everyone got the chance to view different slides. Another day another learning for our M1/12 MEP.
