M6/3 and M4/3 teamed up to give Reading Support assistance to the new comers of MEP, the M1/2 students.
Using their Core English Reading passages M6/3 and M4/3 will record the daily reading progress of M1/2 for 5 days. At the same time help them in their word difficulties and speed reading difficulties. Another great academic bonding for both the MEP and SEP community.
SEP seniors M6/3 and M4/3 are now providing the Reading Support Program to the Mattayom 1 students of MEP. This is the second year of Reading Support Program and this activity is conducted during the homeroom time which aims to reinforce and support the new MEPians in their English Reading Skills.
M1/2 on making a mixture with water and oil. For this experiment, here are the questions that the group needs to answer: How to mix the water and oil together when the oil will just float on the water? What makes the water separated from the oil? These were the questions that ignite the interests of the M1/2 Science class.
While doing the laboratory, students showed eagerness to know the answers of their questions ans were happy to do the experiment. They performed well and enjoyed the activity. In fact they were able to understand why the water and the oil cannot be combined at all without the help of this so called emulsifier.
In the experiment, they used two types of emulsifiers-yellow mustard and the polysorbate-20. They had been stirring so hard mixing the water and the oil at first without the emulsifier but no matter how much effort they put, it ends up imperfectly combined. Then, they tried the first emulsifier which is the yellow mustard. The result was appreciated but not satisfactory. The mixture was not totally mixed. Finally, the polysorbate-20 was used to see whether it can completely combine the water and the oil. The students were amazed with the result because they had got the answers of their inquisitive questions.
This experiment was conducted not only to achieve the objective which is to mix the water and the oil completely using the emulsifier but to enhance the skills of the students using the scientific knowledge of investigations. Thus, this scientific knowledge they gain might help them in creating something for the purpose of a real life situation.
Let’s meet the new members of the Mini English Program, the M1/2 students doing their “new normal” style of Friday Activity Day. In this activity, students were learning English through English songs and English Dance Wii.

Once upon a colorful night in the English Camp, Huahin 2019, students get the chance to get up in their free colorful fashion style and each grade levels get the chance to show off their dancing skills and kinesthetic ability.
Talking of colorful fashion, let’s play as fashion police. What did the students wear during the colorful night? Oh, some are dressed in unicorn and cute colorful pajamas (the Korean style), others did have glitter faces and neon headbands. Well, we can also see some wearing the colorful stripes while others wore shirts with colorful “onomatopeias”. Meanwhile, some boys did wear the hippie yet cool and colorful style of outfits. Well done guys, you put your colorful outfits nicely.
Wait! Let us not forget the NMK teachers who were assisting the students too. Looks like all are having a colorful and fun night both the teachers and students!
Outdoor Games: Grouped in teams, students get the opportunity to roam around the camp to look for clues and unlock the given task, such an interesting game plus you get the chance to enjoy the fine touch of sunshine.

Rock, Paper, Scissors: A one-on-one game of rock, paper, scissors. Team with the most win will earn more points for the whole team. A game of luck, prediction and full of excitement to the respective players!
Farm Game: Using the camp currency , students get the chance to buy things to make a farm in the concept of King Rama 9, in order to win, team must build the most beautiful, productive and sufficient farm. The points can only be gained after each groups presentation.
Stock Exchange: In this game students will get the chance to buy stocks from Thai Companies, this is indeed the most stimulating game during the camp for students get to decide and predict on which company to invest in order to gain more camp currency.
Well, it would be fair enough to say that the camp games are of mix objectives and appeal to students in varied ways.
This year MEPs 1/2, 2/12, 3/12 and SEP 5/3 head to Navy Phirom Hotel in Huahin. Speaking of Navy Phirom, this place is a beachfront accommodation with a beautiful seaview and a relaxing beach vibe. In fact, most of our students did really take much of their “beach-vibe” moment.
What’s more, our students get to bond with their camp teachers , their juniors and seniors while enjoying and playing on the beach. Some are making sand castles, playing some beach group games and others were just merely enjoying a stroll or run around with their friends on the beach.
The Swimming Pool
Well, the bonus part of having the chance to stay in Navy Phirom is that, it has a superb and functional swimming pool where everyone can truly splash and enjoy.
Talking of food, in this English Camp students food are laid by the garden with the seaview, swimming pool view and even a garden with the tropical coconuts.
Indeed, we can say accommodation and facilities are indeed providing the students a refreshing experience.
